CCHN: Center Of Competence Of Humanitarian Negotiation

Among their various activities the founders of the Negotiator’s Agency assist and train frontline negotiators (Yemen, South Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Venezuela…) with training courses and masterclasses dedicated to crisis negotiation at the CCHN. 

The Centre for skill in humanitarian negotiations is a joint initiative of the PAM, the HCR, the HD, the MSF and the CICR. It was created in 2016 to strengthen professional exchanges and to be used as a centre point for strategic partnership efforts to solidify humanitarian professionals’ capacity to prepare for and carry out frontline negotiations. 

The masterclass in negotiation helps them cover the fundamentals of negotiation to deal with degrading situations: opening of human corridors, the regularisation of refugee camps…
